This calcium carbonate is of the purest food grade.

The calcium carbonate content is 99.6%. The food additive designation is E170. It is very finely ground.

Kris uses it for the soil and for her snail boost feed mixtures. Never offer the lime in pure form! Only as a mixture! It is highly concentrated. See instructions below. Or available in the shop under special feed.

When mixed into the soil, it improves the pH value of the soil. This has a positive effect on the top layer of the snail shells (periostracum). This layer acts as a protection against acidic soil and acidic environmental influences.

In addition, the animal absorbs the dolomite lime through its body when it is added to the soil. Which is important for healthy shell growth.
