Lissachatina Fulica Wild Colors “DARK”

Lissachatina Fulica belongs to the most commonly kept species of giant African land snail. It can lay 150 - 500 eggs every week. Some specimens of this large giant African land snail can reach a shell length of up to 24 cm, but more commonly 12 cm. Since they originally come from the rainforests of Africa, they need higher humidity and warmer temperatures. The snails can live up to 12 years. Depending on the size of the snail, the terrarium or box should be adjusted accordingly. Different snail species should not be kept together in one terrarium. The recommended group size for this species is at least 3 animals. The Lissachatina Fulica "dark" is a darker variant of the wild-colored snail.

Snail Shipping: Our snails only travel first class! In summer and winter during extreme temperatures, we sometimes wait a few days with shipping for the sake of the animals. Please refrain from asking about the status every day. We make sure that the animals arrive safely with you, we are the only land snail shop with courier delivery, because that is the gentlest for the animals. In winter, the winter packaging is included in the shipping price. The animals will come to you as soon as it is cold with a heat pack and Styrofoam box.

When the animals arrive with you, remember to let them acclimate at room temperature for half to three-quarters of an hour first. You know that at Slimeside everything always takes a little longer. Give your snails the time they need.
