In cold temperatures, they are shipped with Styrofoam and a heat pack. The cost of this is included in the selling price.

They can reach a shell length of up to 4 cm. The exact name is: Caracolus sagemon Cuba (lowland form) striped.

Keeping tips

They like to eat lichens (found in the forest) and love to bathe. Therefore, a bathing bowl is essential.

The temperature during the day is 26 degrees, at night 23-24 degrees. Lime the soil with 85 – 90% calcium carbonate. The minimum size for the terrarium for a small group of adult snails is 60x30x30cm. Different snail species must not be kept together in one terrarium. The recommended group size for this species is min. 4 animals.
