Achachatinidae Snail Food:

To ensure a balanced diet for snails, especially Achachatinidae snails, it is necessary to provide them with sufficient protein. The Fresh Mint snail food mix contains 18% protein.

Contents:

Various seeds, bloodworms, calcium, and mint.

Directions:

Serve in a separate feeding bowl and can be lightly sprinkled with water.

Uneaten snail food should be removed after 24 hours.

Recommendation:

Protein is an important part of a balanced diet for snails. However, this does not replace fruit and vegetables, which are the snails' main food. Different genera and species of Achachatinidae snails require different amounts of protein. For the genus Archachatina and the species Lissachatina Reticulata, it is recommended to feed protein once a week, for example in the form of our snail food mixes. This is especially important during growth!

For other genera and species of Achachatinidae snails, such as Lissachatina Fulica, twice-monthly protein supplementation is sufficient.

For native snail species and smaller snail species in the shop, such as Helix Pomatia, only feed small amounts. For a small group, 1 teaspoon per month is sufficient. The snail lollipop is recommended for small species, as it contains just the right amount for small snail species.
